We left D.C. about 9 pm Monday and drove straight through. We hit traffic around 8:30 am so we wound up being near Gainesville around lunchtime which is were Boat's BBQ stand is. Mark found this place by accident when he went up to the Fire College for a class. It is this little podunk stand on the side of the road in the back woods. You would fly right by it if you didn't know it was there...but let me tell you...they sell the absolute without a doubt BEST BBQ pork sandwich I've ever had!
Yup...that's Boat's!
