After we were done walking around the Capitol Building we headed over to the Library of Congress and were stopped cold in our tracks...because of a BOMB SCARE...the authorities came from all angles and converged on this corner right outside the Library of Congress and I believe the Supreme Court Building.
Their were police officers with their cruisers, on their bikes, in white uniforms and black uniforms. Some in suits and some in gray cargo pants. the bomb squad was there and other very official looking people...
Some carried m-16's, others had German Shepards...
They were everywhere moving us back and setting up a perimeter...
It was crazy! Very wild (not to mention scary) to watch. Needless to say we didn't stick around!
